Brenda Milewski for Charter Review Commission, District 2 - Pos. 2

I’m Brenda Milewski—a proud retired Army veteran, dedicated small business owner, and lifelong public servant with over 25 years of strong, proven leadership experience. I’m running for the Pierce County Charter Review Commission to ensure our county government remains accountable, transparent, and truly responsive to the people it serves.

My Story

During my two decades of honorable military service, I managed complex logistics operations, led a company of nearly 300 soldiers, and trained high-performing teams with precision, discipline, and integrity. After retiring from the Army, I channeled that same drive into launching my own business—WA Declutter & Cleaning Service—building it from the ground up and mentoring others along the way.

My professional background spans compliance oversight, operations management, and hands-on community engagement. I bring a disciplined, solutions-oriented mindset to every role, along with a deep commitment to service. Whether I’m volunteering with middle school students or supporting local initiatives, my passion lies in lifting others up and making a meaningful impact.

I believe in practical, people-first governance. I’ll work hard to protect your tax dollars, uphold our shared values, and preserve the Charter’s original purpose: empowering citizens while ensuring effective, efficient local government.

I’m ready to serve Pierce County with integrity, clarity, and bold action—because our community deserves a voice that listens, leads, and delivers results.

My Positions

Government Accountability
I am committed to ensuring our local government operates with transparency, efficiency, and integrity. By reviewing and strengthening our government structure, we can create a system that truly serves the people of Pierce County.
Elections and Representation
Every voice matters. I will advocate for fair, accessible elections and equitable representation so that all communities in Pierce County have a say in decisions that affect their lives. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive democracy.
Social Services and Public Health
Strong communities are built on care and support. I will work to enhance social services and public health programs to address the needs of our most vulnerable populations, ensuring everyone in Pierce County has access to essential resources and quality healthcare.
